The QR Toolkit
Generate branded QR codes and scan QR codes or barcodes from images, a webcam, or any page you're on — free, with QR generation and scanning that stay entirely local. Generate up to three QR codes a day free; sign in with Google to keep going. Scanning never requires sign-in, and QR contents are never uploaded.
What it does
Two tools in one popup — a QR generator built for branding, and a scanner that works wherever a code shows up.
Branded generation
Logo overlays with automatic error-correction safeguards, square/rounded/dot/classy module styles, gradient or custom colors, and captions.
Decorative frames
Classic, circle, badge, diamond, hexagon, and heart frames around the code — plus five ready-to-use presets if you don't want to fuss with styling.
Seven payload types
Plain text, website URL, phone, email, SMS, Wi-Fi credentials, and vCard business cards — each with the fields that format actually needs.
Batch generation
Paste newline-delimited text, CSV-like rows, or a JSON array and get up to 50 codes back as a single offline ZIP.
PNG, SVG, and PDF export
Download or copy the generated image directly, in whichever format the next step in your workflow needs.
Scan from camera or image
Upload an image, drag and drop it in, or open a dedicated tab and scan live with your webcam.
Right-click, anywhere
Scan a visible QR code on the current page, or right-click any image on any site to decode it on the spot.
QR and barcode formats
QR, PDF417, Aztec, Data Matrix, Code 128/39, EAN, UPC, and more — with smart handling for URLs, Wi-Fi, vCards, email, phone, and SMS content.
Local scan history
Every decode is saved locally with copy, delete, and clear controls — nothing is synced to a server.
QR generation and scanning stay on your device.
QR generation, image decoding, and camera scanning all run locally, and QR contents are never uploaded. Scanning is always free with no sign-in. After your three free daily generations, sign in with Google to keep generating — see the privacy policy for the exact details.
